Lakshmi and David's Wedding, Greenwich Yacht Club, London
/ Greenwich Yacht Club/ Ross ElliottBank Holiday banger — couple-led opener + nonstop requests
Couple’s Feedback
A Bank Holiday Saturday at Greenwich Yacht Club is basically the definition of peak wedding season — and this one absolutely delivered. The room was buzzing, the requests kept coming, and we ended up pushing past 11:30pm because it felt wrong to stop while the show was still cooking.
One of our favourite modern twists? The couple kicked things off by singing their “first dance” live with the band (“Love Is An Open Door”❄️ Frozen). It’s become a really popular option — it breaks the ice instantly, and guests love seeing the couple lead the way before everyone piles in.
How the night flowed:
Set 1: Bandeoke Experience opens with the couple’s live first-dance moment then into bandeoke guests
Set 2: Playback first-dance medley → a few live dancefloor bangers → back into guest-led Bandeoke
Pre-set 3: Groom + brothers’ slot (proper “headline” energy)
Set 3: Final Bandeoke push!
We’ll often recommend two sets for the smoothest flow — but on this night, three shorter sets worked perfectly.
Planning note: Bank Holiday weekends (and peak Fri/Sat/Sun dates) are some of the most oversubscribed of the year — if you’re eyeing one, it’s worth enquiring with key suppliers early.

“An Unforgettable Live Karaoke Experience!
We recently had the pleasure of having Bandeoke perform at our wedding, and it was an absolute highlight of the evening! The live karaoke experience brought an unparalleled level of excitement and energy to our celebration, making it an unforgettable night for us and our guests.
From the initial planning stages, Ross, a key member of the Bandeoke team, proved to be a true professional. His approachability, attention to detail, and responsiveness made the entire collaboration process seamless.
The band members themselves were immensely talented musicians. Their ability to engage the audience and keep the energy levels high throughout the night was truly impressive! The diverse range of songs in their repertoire provided our guests with ample options to choose from. We were truly impressed with their flexibility and willingness to accommodate last minute changes and bespoke requests from us.
Bandeoke exceeded our expectations, delivering a live karaoke experience that ensured the dance floor was never empty! Ross and the entire band’s professionalism, talent, and flexibility made them a joy to work with. They truly know how to turn a special occasion into an extraordinary one.”
