Mark & Annie’s 60th birthday & silver wedding anniversary party

A marquee sing-along spectacular with an epic crowd-surf finale

Mark Friend’s 60th birthday (and Mark & Annie’s silver wedding anniversary) was the perfect excuse for a proper blow-the-roof-off Bandeoke night — set in a marquee at a private residence in North London, with around 120 guests ready to get involved.

What made this one really fly was the crowd: unlike most parties, loads of guests had signed up in advance, which meant lightning-fast transitions, a super smooth running order, and maximum slots for singers. We kicked things off band-only with “(Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay” to set the scene, then straight into the first guest-led moment: “Fly Me to the Moon” — instant warm glow, instant confidence.

And then… the finale. The birthday boy (yes, turning 60!) crowd surfing while his kids tore into “Smells Like Teen Spirit”. Absolute scenes. Mark & Annie said Bandeoke made the celebration “extra special” — and we have indeed had several enquiries and bookings from guests who attended, so this show landed super-well.

Clients’ feedback

Bandeoke made our celebration extra special
Bandeoke helped us have an amazing party for our combined 60th birthday and silver wedding anniversary.

They are brilliant performers, musically tight and help us amateurs pretend for a few hours. They accommodated all different levels of singer and helped everyone feel comfortable.

All the people involved are professional and good natured. They were so friendly throughout and lots of our friends have been in touch asking for details. I highly recommend using them to make a special occasion really memorable.
